The X12T Direct Box is built on the technology of the X1 with added features for control and flexibility.

X12T Active Direct Box Features

The Mute Switch allows the musician to mute the output and unplug the instrument without the unpleasant pop, preventing damage to personal in-ear monitors or the sound system.  The mute switch does not mute the buffered tuner output. The X12T is powered by 48V phantom power. In the event that phantom power is not available, the X12T can also be powered by an external AC Power Adaptor, which is sold separately.
